Nanette Jones – OHS Specialist
Qualifications: MLM (Curtin), Grad Cert (Ind Hygiene), Grad Cert (HR&S), B.Sc. (Health and Safety), Cert IV (Training and Assessor), RGN, CPMSIA
Experience: Nanette who is the organisational leader, has worked with many aspects of the EHS portfolio in management, advisor and lecturing positions across various industries including manufacturing, health, mining, and construction industries over a twenty year period. Nanette’s achievements include creating a great team that was responsible for developing and implementing an EHS integrated system that maintained the WorkSafe Platinum award for 4 years, AS/NZS 4801 and ISO 14001complient that was integrated into the Corporate EHS Management System for a large manufacturing plant. Nanette’s experience includes being a member of a leadership team that contributed to the success of the business that employed 450 employees. Successfully developing and managing an occupational health program which included all aspects from fitness to work to a comprehensive injury management program in mining and manufacturing industries. Development of new entrants into Occupational Health and Safety Career to ensure they are work ready and embrace lifelong learning. Research in Occupational Health and Safety completing a project to examine the effectiveness of the Code of Practice Working Hours and now commenced a PhD looking into the Factors that contribute to the success or failure of OHS Management Systems.

Liz Wallis- Long – OHS Specialist
Qualifications: B.Sc (Health and Safety), Cert IV (Training & Assessment), WorkSafe Plan Assessor, CPMSIA, RSP (Aust)
Experience: Liz has 10 years experience in health and safety working in primary industry (fishing and forestry), engineering, small business, tertiary education and facilities management/properties. Liz’s major achievements include advising small businesses in WA in health and safety management, setting up a safety management system including contractor management for one of Britain’s oldest charities and a contractor safety management system for one of Perth’s universities. She has experience in emergency response at a university, tutoring OSH students and advising film and television students on safety in their industry. Liz is a successful trainer in health and safety, developing and delivering the 5 day safety & health representatives course and developing individual safety courses and inductions.
Passion: Liz enjoys gardening, collecting antique furniture and spending time with her animals.

Tina Hollis – OHS Specialist
Qualifications: B.Sc. (Health and Safety), Cert IV (Training and Assessor), WorkSafe Plan Assessor.
Experience: Tina Hollis has provided independent OSH consultancy services to industry in Western Australia since 1985, working with wide range of industry sectors including:
- manufacturing,
- warehousing / distribution,
- hospitals and aged care facilities,
- Universities and schools.
- labour hire
- construction
- government departments
Tina has provided assistance to many Perth based companies ranging from large international organisations to very small businesses. With over 20 years experience working in the OSH field Tina has developed a strong safety knowledge base and an effective, pragmatic approach to resolving safety issues and meeting legislative requirements.
Typical services Tina has provided include:
- the development and implementation of effective safety management systems, occupational health programs and proactive injury management processes,
- auditing OHS management systems
- the design and provision of safety training programs including induction packages
- risk assessments including specific areas i.e. plant, ergonomics and occupational noise.

Brenda Owen – OHS Specialist
Qualifications: B.Sc. (Health and Safety), RGN
Experience: Brenda has worked across the health, defence and manufacturing industries and has experience in occupational health, injury management, ergonomic assessments, emergency management and recovery, and noise management over 10 years. Brenda believes in a proactive approach to injury management to achieve the best outcome for the injured worker and the employer and is currently working towards a Master in Injury Management. Brenda has participated in the corporate audit process, developed health promotion programs for employees including blood borne virus management and implemented efficient health surveillance programs.
Passion: Brenda ensures her approach to living considers the environment and has a huge appreciation and interest in the natural world.
Anthony Van Duyn – OHS Specialist
Qualifications: Post Grad Dip (Occ Health and Safety); B.Sc. (Environmental Health);
Experience: Anthony has worked in the EHS portfolios in mining and manufacturing industries. Anthony is committed to make a difference and ensure the client’s expectations and objectives are achieved. Anthony has participated in the audit process for a large corporation in manufacturing, implemented a risk management program and acted as a change agent for EHS for contract management. Anthony has experience with developing training programs for a wide variety of operational EHS subjects including permit to work, resource conservation and ergonomics, industrial hygiene management including monitoring programs and implementation of programs for hazardous substance risk management.
